Founded in 1996, the China-Australia Chamber of Commerce (AustCham) is a non-profit organisation registered with the Chinese Ministry of Civil Affairs to represent and drive the growth of Australian companies in China.
AustCham represents Australia’s extensive, cross-industry business in China and has played an important role in promoting business dealings between Australia and China. AustCham maintains a close working relationship with the Australian Embassy in China and a number of Australian government departments in the country. AustCham has set up working groups for member companies, including: agriculture, education, financial services, energy and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
AustCham holds regular seminars to share the latest policy and business-related information with members in the industry. AustCham is committed to enhancing business, government and people-to-people exchanges between China and Australia. Over the years, AustCham has developed into an important platform for information and resource exchange between Chinese and Australian industries through timely briefings, extensive networking opportunities, professional industry insights and international marathon festivals.
